Policies:

Deposit: In order to hold your reservation, we require a 50% deposit at the time of booking. The remainder will be charged upon your arrival. Payments can be made by credit card (VISA and Master Card) or cash. Deposits made 30 days in advance can be made with a personal cheque, but the balance must be paid with credit card or cash upon arrival.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made more than 30 days ahead of your arrival date will be fully refunded minus a 10% administration fee (based on 10% of total price of your reservation). Cancellations made 30 or fewer days prior to your arrival will be refunded ONLY if we are able to fill your reservation with another. Please note that every attempt will be made to do so, but because many reservations are made in advance, we cannot guarantee that this will occur. If we are able to fill with another reservation, a 10% administration fee will be withheld from your refund (based on 10% of total price of your reservation).

SMOKING: Please note that smoking is strictly prohibited in any area of the Bed and Breakfast and Fernwood Cottage. Otter Point is located in a remote wilderness area and smoking creates an unacceptable fire hazard risk.

PETS: Unfortunately, we cannot allow pets at Otter Point.

CHILDREN: Children are welcome at Fernwood Cottage. We ask that you keep your children under supervision at all times, as management cannot be responsible for their safety while on the property. There is no life guard on duty on the property and if you choose to swim, or allow your children to have access to the shoreline, you do so at your own risk.

We welcome children 8 and over to stay at the Bed & Breakfast.
